The agency responsible for the wetlands in Ramsey County in Minnesota have enlisted the help of volunteers to completely reseed the shoreline of the wetland with wild flowers. The area has become a favorite spot for artists and photographers, not to mention a multitude of wildlife. I used a post impressionist style to capture the exuberance of the field of bright flowers as they contrast with the light and shadow colors. I love having this tiny painting in my house and I'm sure you will love it too. If it's enlarged the brush strokes will become almost abstract in appearance, which will enhance it even more.
I have been a painter, photographer and designer for many years. Worked as art director for a theater company in San Diego, designer for an audio visual company in Minneapolis, tech director for a contractor with Walt Disney World in Orlando, graphic designer for a Landscape Architect in Orlando, as an art teacher in Nairobi, Kenya, and prepress for a printer in Minneapolis. My work is displayed in many private collections and currently I exhibit in Art of the Lakes in Battle Lake, Minnesota, (http://www.artofthelakes.org/) as well as Gallery96 in St. Paul, Minnesota. My work reflects my interest in technical challenges and spiritual depth. The style adapts for each new piece, but retains a personal identity recognizable in the whole body...
