Artist's Description
A friend's beloved pet passed away and I asked to draw her dog for a remembrance. I uploaded it here to comfort any other people who have lost a pet who looks something like this.
About Lynn Hansen
I have been a painter, photographer and designer for many years. Worked as art director for a theater company in San Diego, designer for an audio visual company in Minneapolis, tech director for a contractor with Walt Disney World in Orlando, graphic designer for a Landscape Architect in Orlando, as an art teacher in Nairobi, Kenya, and prepress for a printer in Minneapolis. My work is displayed in many private collections and currently I exhibit in Art of the Lakes in Battle Lake, Minnesota, (http://www.artofthelakes.org/) as well as Gallery96 in St. Paul, Minnesota. My work reflects my interest in technical challenges and spiritual depth. The style adapts for each new piece, but retains a personal identity recognizable in the whole body...

Lynn, what an adorable and precious piece of fine art! Congratulations on your sale!
Lynn Hansen replied:
Thankyou! I draw these beloved pets when they die as a gift to the person who loved them. I posted them because I'm sure that same pet will also resonate with other people who love a similar pet. And apparently it has! I hope the buyer is blessed by the purchase. That's the reason I make art, to bless people.
